My approach to photographing your wedding day is to tell the
complete story, from beginning to end. Although it may have
taken months to plan, the day will fly by in the blink
of an eye. It is my privilege to capture
all of the intimate details and emotions that make it special
so that you can treasure them for years to come.
My style is relaxed, fun, and fresh. I arrive early in the morning and leave late in the evening. Whenever possible, I take spontaneous candids and natural portraits of you and your guests in order to capture the natural emotion and beauty of your wedding. Formal pictures of the wedding party and family are shot in an easy, relaxed manner with very little posing and typically take about 30 minutes or less. My goal is to capture spontaneous and natural looking images, not stiff images with forced smiles.
Some of the best moments happen away from the ceremony. The
mother helping her daughter into her dress. The bride quickly
squeezing her fathers hand before exiting the limo. A quick
kiss between the bride and groom when no one is looking. These
are the intimate details of your wedding that I strive to capture.
I am YOUR photographer for the entire day, from start to finish.
It is truly an honor to be allowed into your life for a day.
I prefer to meet face-to-face with potential clients at the earliest moment available. People joke that the only person you see as much as the groom on your wedding day is the photographer, and it's true! While I try to be as inconspicuous as possible, I will be there all day, in the background, watching for those perfect moments. It is absolutely critical that you are comfortable with me in the background. This initial consultation gives me a chance to learn more about your family, who will be there, and what is most important to you. More importantly however, this meeting gives you a chance to get to better know who I am and how I shoot.
